Jet Airways was established in 1992. Jet Airways is India's largest domestic airline
Its main hubs are Mumbai/Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi and Madras and it operates 33 aircraft (Boeing 737-400/700/800s and ATR72-500). Jet Airways offers 2 classes (Business / Tourist) on board its flights. There are currently 9 B737-800 operating in its fleet.
An aviation magazine of the United States of America Air Transport World has recently conferred the `market development award' for 2001 on Jet Airways for upgrading domestic air travel to world-class standards.
